I think you'd have to be a deranged fool in order to make this comparison.

I agree. If I was Hitler or Lenin, I would be outraged.

Yep, while I do condemn the use of Hitler for any President we've had, they sudden outcry now from the media, hollywood, and the left is pretty despicable and phony. The same was done to Bush among many things that were just as bad or worse, and you heard nothing about it. The media, the left, and Dem politicians didnt come out to condemn those things during the Bush years. But then again, all of them were basically doing just the same, but they even took it to lower levels by attacking our military.

4- Emphasized on Christianity as the national religion
5- Hated workers' unions
6- Touted his military experience
7- He saw world and people in black and white... "Good" versus "Evil". There was little to not gray area (middle ground).
8- Operated on ultra nationalism

He was pretty consistent on these for over a decade before taking office, and after as well.
1. Hitler was a socialist. He hated "Bolshevics" but strongly supported national socialism. Obama, like Hitler, is a socialist.

2. Hated homosexuals. Wrong. The SA and SS was full of homosexuals, just like the Obama administration. Hitler publically derided homosexuals, but his regime was loaded with him. Ernst Rhome (sp) was a flamer.

3. Hates Jews. Obama hates Jews as well. See the current support for the Nation of Islam and the treatment of Israel.

4. Emphasized Christianity as a national religion. Did he? Keep in mind that Hitler sent many Catholic priests to the death camps as well as Jews. He used religion as a tool for state propaganda but never looked to relgion for faith. Like Obama, who faked being a Christian for 20 years for political expediency, Hitler used religion as a propaganda prop.

5. Hated workers unions. Yep. There you have a difference. Also the difference being that as a result, Hitler, prior to WW2, led Germany to economic prosperity, while Obama has destroyed the US economy. Perhaps Obama can take a few lessons from Hitler.

6. Touted his military experience. Wrong. Hitler hated the elite command of the German army and vice versa. He was widely despised by the the generals of the Wehrmacht, thus his need to develop his own personal army, the SS. Interestingly, Obama, like Hitler, fears the military and wants to develop his own civilian army, similar to the SS.

7. Saw the world in black and white. Wrong. That is why Hitler, despite touting the "purity" of the Aryan people, allied himself with Italy and Japan- somewhat the antithesis of "black and white". Further, the USSR was initially an ally of Hitler, and supplied him with natural resources right up to the invasion of Russia. Lastly, Hitler enlisted Muslims to carry out his fight against the Jews. There were two Muslim SS divisions (one from Croatia- they deserved what they got at the hands of the Serbs) and the Arabs were sympathetic to Hitler. Hitler was politically expedient, like Obama, and turns his colors in a second to do whatever will benefit him the most. He is a shameless opportunist, like Hitler.

8. Operated on ultra nationalism. Obama operates on ultra internationalism- same thing. Both seek to dominate the population they presumed to lead by restricting the liberty of the citizens of thier nations at the expense of central authoritarian control.

There you have it- Obama is pretty much the same as Hitler. The funny thing is that both Hitler and Obama were foriegn born relative to the countries they led.

Until some President wants to put millions of a group of people in ovens and torture them, NO President should be compared to Hitler. Period. I strongly condemn anyone doing this. I dont care what "similarities" there are between their politics. Comparisons to Hitler, should only be used for the most evil, vile beings imaginable that wish to exterminate millions of men/women/children.

I think comparing anyone to Hitler is wrong. It was wrong when the left did it to Bush (even though they won't admit it) and it is wrong when the right does it to Obama.
