A cop using excessive force. Not surprising the least. And now states are passing laws prohibiting you from videotaping a police officer using excessive force. I wonder why? You should be allowed to civilly sue a police officer not in his official capacity, but by his personal capacity that way it'll help cut down on police abuse. They hide behind a badge because only their badge can be sued, not themselves
This was just horrible.
These officers should be prevented from ever being in law enforcement again. Unfortunatly this is happening way to often in this country in All the states.
She should sue both the police dept.(who has an obligation to the public to make sure their officers are properly trained) & the officers themselves personally.
Some will say these are isolated incidents but, we hear about them all the time now & it makes you wonder WHY some states are now trying to prohibit the video taping of police.
It sure doesn't help the reputation of police when it becomes popular to hear 'don't tase me bro'.
I think its scary that Smith was able to get another job in law enforcement.
I wonder who his next victim will be?
