When Right Wing Evangelical Christians engage in radical teaching it's ok but a cause for war when muslims do it.

"Since the run up to the Iraq War, [Massoud] Barzani and the KRG played to the Bush administration and its right-wing evangelical Christian base," (snip) "That's where they saw the power and the money. Barzani was going to let them set up schools and churches and get what he needed." But, Amitay adds, "given the rise of the Islamic parties in Kurdistan and Assyrian Christian resentment of American evangelical exceptionalism and proselytizing, they're playing with fire.""

Speaking as an atheist, the sooner the arab world is converted to christianity, the sooner they will actually be able to develop in a functional and modern society. Islam needs to be eradicated from this world.

Speaking as another atheist, I think ALL religion needs to be eradicated from this world.

I've spent some time in Kurdistan. It's the most liveable place in the whole country. Christianity fits well in that culture. I see no problem here.

Why can't you be happy just being an atheist? Why eradicate all religion because of minority thinking?

The Christians aren't beheading those who will not convert. The Christians are not recruiting suicide bombers to blow up innocent people. The Christians are not hijacking commercial airlines and flying them into buildings or into the ground. The Christians are not converting people by the point of a sword. Are they Tightwad?

Well, I realize it's not going to happen in my lifetime. We've just got too many people in this world who still feel the need to believe in fairy tales.

Someday, we will grow up though.

In my world, being an atheist is fairy tale thinking and there is a reason your way of thinking is in such a minority.
