As the midterm election season approaches, new road signs are popping up everywhere – millions of dollars worth of signs touting "The American Reinvestment and Recovery Act" and reminding passers-by that the program is "Putting America Back to Work."

I guess it's not surprising that they are going to use this to manipulate people. By looking at what the polls say----millions of American know their full of it.

The only thing missing from those signs is a smiling picture of Obama. Kind of makes you think of totalitarian states like North Korea where the people are constantly reminded in signs and pictures who their savior is.

Another grand example of the liberal mindset - which is - "We think American's are Stupid."

In other words, it takes a hefty dose of Holier Than Thou to think that American's are dumb enough to conclude that an increased presence of road signs is evidence of Democratic effectiveness.

If I were a liberal, i'd find this ruse to be highly offensive.

$20 million for signs? And those that get Failed Stimulus money have "requirements" to fulfill regarding the signs.

You know, I can't think of anything more soothing and inspiring than to be caught in a traffic snarl due to obama's Failed Stimulus spending on roads across this country.

I can just imagine people stuck on a one-lane interstate cussing their brains out @ obama and his signs.

Yep, that is exactly what I think when I drive by them. The real jobs created/saved are those at the signmaker, not the road construction crews.
