Folks the President is never "on vacation". Doesn't matter whether there's a D or an R after the name.

Gosh, I love these threads:

487 Days At Camp David For Bush - Political Hotsheet - CBS News

Yes, that's 487 days. And Camp David is not even where the president has spent the most time when not at the White House: Knoller reports that Mr. Bush has made 77 visits to his ranch in Crawford during his presidency, and spent all or part of 490 days there.

487 days at Camp David
490 days at Crawford Ranch
43 days at Kennebunkport Compound

Total: 1020 days, more than 1/3rd of his presidency.

Bush set the record for most vacation time taken by president, surpassing fellow Republican Ronald Reagan.
Another example of poor Republican leadership.

Clinton spent 152 days in his 8 years.
That's pretty good considering federal employees get 13 days a year for the first 3 years and 20 days after that.
He totalled 13 days more than other federal employees earn.

Whereas Bush took 983 DAYS MORE than a federal employee.
Where were the teabaggers then?

Nice deflection! Do you have anything to say about the actual topic? Maybe this is just a way of saying Bush must be as good as Obama because they engage in the same behavior.

Gosh I love partisans!

You know, if taking a vacation is an example of "poor" leadership then surely Obama is well on his way in this little game.

I dont have too big a deal with vacations but he seems to do it a lot. I dont think the man has given up anything since he's been President.
My only problem with it, is that the media and liberals slammed Bush over playing golf and vacations. Yet now we cant mention all of Obama's outings and golfing?

At this time in Obama's presidency, putting up things or excuses about Bush, give me a very GOOD LAUGH INDEED. Can't they come up with something better.
