Poison Ivy Loves CO2 - There's the Rub
Poison ivy is growing faster and getting stronger due to increased carbon dioxide in the atmosphere

Poison ivy has grown faster, grown stronger, and grown more resilient as the level of atmospheric carbon dioxide has increased in the past 50 years, according to new research. The project builds on a six-year study released last year that showed poison ivy would respond well to future increased in carbon dioxide, no matter how that gas influences global warming. The new research shows that it's already happening.

To be thorough, why not list all of the plants that respond well to CO2?

Heh, yep! I love those who try and pass of CO2 as "green"...more the better.

It's like saying Iron is good for you. It is very good for you. People would take supplements in increasing strength back in the early parts of the century. A little is good, so a lot is better? Maybe not, as a number ended up in the morgue and we have limits on the amount in Iron pills.

Besides the publicly released funding for such groups being Astroturfed by major fossil fuel lobbying groups.

You have a point. The planet/air is dirty and needs to be clean, but when the argument presented is about poison ivy, you pretty much invite responses about plants and poison ivy.
