In or out? That’s the question Republican Rep. Michele Bachmann effectively posed to every member of the GOP -- and indeed the Democrats -- with her founding of the Tea Party Caucus in Congress.

Pols on Tuesday took to the social-media networks to say whether they’ll join or not, but in keeping with the “tea party" ideological perspective, no overriding consensus was apparent.

44 - Michele Bachmann starting tea party caucus

I see that she's named herself the Chairman of the Caucus. I could be wrong, but I can't imagine that this is going to be anything but a train wreck.

Michelle Bachmann is possibly one of the biggest Republican crazies in Congress. She comes from an area of MN that is filled with those raccoon-hat, red plaid coat-wearing, ice fishin' neck bearded snow rednecks just like you see in the movies.

I find it interesting and sad how Republicans in Congress are totally bonkers and Democrats in Congress are corrupt & ineffectual. And we wonder why our country hasn't yet recovered from the recession.

and not corrupt? Actually, I do believe that there are a handful of reps that are not corrupt. Unfortunately, if we do not have Campaign Finance Reform, things will only get worse.

Default Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-Minn.) starting Tea Party Caucus

A Caucasian Caucus of Circus Performers.

"for the benefit of Mr. Kite
There will be a show tonight on trampoline
The Hendersons will all be there
Late of Pablo-Fanques is there, what a scene
Over men and horses hoops and garters
Lastly through a hogshead of real fire!
In this way Mr. K. will challenge the world!
The celebrated Mr. K.
Performs his feat on Saturday at Bishopsgate
The Hendersons will dance and sing
As Mr. Kite flies through the ring don't be late
Mrs. K assures the public
Their production will be second to none
And of course Henry The Horse dances the waltz-!
(Circus organ music) The band begins at ten to six
When Mr. K. performs his tricks without a sound
And Mr. H. will demonstrate
Ten somersets he'll undertake on solid ground
Having been some days in preparation
A splendid time is guaranteed for all
And tonight Mr. Kite is topping the bill-.
(Circus organ music.)" Beatles

Whoa!...did you feel that?

Was that a tremor or something?

Oh, sorry. It was just the momentum building going into November.

Brilliant idea Ms. Bachmann!
