I would wake up in the middle of the night, cold sweats, instantly wide awake and call my mother; "Mom?" I'd whisper, "Saddam Who-sane is coming to get us and no one is listening."

Yes, with all the politicians saying he had weapons and was going to use them against us.

He scared us all. Those who say he didn't have no memory.

I have plenty of memory Janelle I also have enough common sense to know when the Government is feeding us a line of b.s to justify going to war for absolutely no reason.

No, I was never frightened by Saddam Hussein. During the lead-up to the Iraq War, I hollered at the TV a lot because of all of the idiotic disinformation that was being spread.

I never feared him and felt in my heart that our government was lying. How right I was.

Scared us all?

Speak for yourself, and your fellow patrons of Faux News.

Saddam Hussein attacked nobody since the Gulf War.

And I sure he was smart enough to know that Iraq could easily be wiped off the map by the U.S. and other super powers if he ever used WMDs against another country.

On the world stage, Saddam Hussein was a pesky fly that needed to be swatted from time to time.

It was the Bush Administration that decided to declare a major war against Iraq, and the Bush Administration tried to connect Iraq to 9/11 to sell this war to the U.S. people.

Hardly any other major country wanted anything to do with this war.
