I thought Clinton was a good president, Bush was terrible, and so far my impression of Obama is unfavorable but I am open to changing my mind if he becomes a more effective leader (which I doubt at this point). I am disappointed in Obama; I was not a huge fan in 2008 but I did vote for him as the lesser of two evils. I was hoping he would do better than this.

Looks like nostalgia is influencing the numbers. It's easy to romanticize the past.
I liked Bill Clinton. I still do. Sure, I had my share of policy differences with him, just as with Obama...they're both moderates. It's just that Clinton had something special that's hard to define. Something Obama lacks.
One thing is for sure, I don't believe you would have seen Bill Clinton fire a member of his team because of a sleaze like Andrew Breitbart.
I'll feel differently once I've had coffee. Can I change my vote after my daily constitutional since my vote for right now won't be valid going thru the rest of the day?
Obviously, the poll in the op tells a different story. 45% for Bush against the current failure obama @ 52% is NOT that much difference.
The poll results are not really valid, are they? Both Clinton and Bush are being assessed after 8 years of observation, and in retrospect. Obama has not even completed 2 years.
If anything, Americans are a fickle bunch: they go from love to hate and back again, quickly and frequently. It's too soon to judge Obama.

Good point. And if you look at the two presidents that ARE being judged in retrospect, Bill Clinton has a hefty lead over Bush..
