Why isn't this being covered by the TV media? Not much in print news, either. This is one of the exact scenarios that ends up in WW III (so says a former nuclear submarine officer I know).

I don't get it: what could be more dangerous to the U.S. when North Korea threatens to use nuclear weapons to respond to a show of power-projection by the U.S.? When North Korea's leader, Kim Jong-il, has already tested nuclear weapons? And our entire military is busy making sure terrorism is alive and well by driving around in Iraq and Afghanistan?

This is truly terrifying. And our media, like our education system, virtually ignores it because it is not pure entertainment. Bizarro-World continues unabated.

I think that if the USSR threatened a nuclear attack because the US was conducting drills, that the news would cover it a smidge more.

NK has nuclear weapons, they've tested them, and have one of the biggest militarys in the world.
