The files cover the period between January 2004 and December 2009.
I believe President Obama had only been in office one month
Clip:
National Security Advisor Jones noted that former U.S. President George W. Bush was in office during the bulk of the period between January 2004 and December 2009.* Jones said that on December 1, 2009, President Barack Obama announced a new strategy with a substantial increase in resources for Afghanistan and a focus on al-Qaida and Taliban safe havens in Pakistan. *

He said the shift in strategy was precisely because of the grave situation that had developed over several years.

It amazes me that a lot of sheeple don't want to know when the military industrial complex is "pulling a Sneaky Pete". They should be exposed. They think they don't have to follow any laws. The sheeple are supposed to be in awe of all things military ? gung ho at all times ? no matter what ???

It's amazing how progressive and LBJ-like these RINOs can be when it comes to blindly obeying the military-industrial complex.

Sorry. You're right. Most of the blame still falls on bush for diverting attention away from Afghanistan and starting a needless war with Iraq.

More Americans (?) are getting rich off this war than are dying of it. War equals money for about one third or more of this economy.

Time to say we never should have gone there, Iraq and Afghanistan, and arrange for a withdrawal under fire. We should also take any of the natives that were foolish enough to work for us.

Kind of interesting that every "war" (no declaration) fought since WW2 has resulted in either a stalemate or loss. At minimum, it never resulted in total victory with minimal insurgency. The Werewolves, Nazi insurgents following WW2, were disbanded in less than 2-3 years.

"Of all the enemies to public liberty war is, perhaps, the most to be dreaded, because it comprises and develops the germ of every other." - James Madison
