The good book is titled The Rage of a Privileged Class. It can apply to all people of color not just black people.

I agree. When someone like Glenn Beck tells his viewers that our President has a deep-seated hatred for White people on national TV and still attracts crowds to his rallies, when a Republican nominee like Carl Paladino can email hateful videos depicting the President as a pimp and the First Lady as his prostitute (and others showing the White House victory celebration as an African tribal dance) but still win the Republican primary by a landslide, there shouldn't be any question that racism is alive & well in our country.

On another forum I posted this link. People keep saying the story about the lunatic who threw acid in her own face has nothing to do with race. So why did so many people believe her and call the attack a hate crime?

Black Woman Throws Acid in White Woman's Face

So why would a headline read like this if racism wasn't alive & kicking in the United States? Ashley Todd had no trouble convincing people that a large Black man mutilated her with a knife because she was a McCain supporter. Although this has been going on for years, many of the racists came out of the shadows because it wasn't politically correct to be a bigot until Obama was elected.

Why do so many people keep pointing out that 90% of Blacks voted for Obama (which is NOT why he won) when the same percentage of Black voters chose Bill Clinton? Al Gore got 80% of the Black vote in the 2000 election. So, instead of just saying the majority of Blacks generally vote for a Democrat, it had to be because Obama is Black, not because of his party!

Then they claim it's the Democrats who cry race all the time!

Why? Because little people talk about little things, that's why.

imho, it's like when a woman is pregnant, then suddenly the whole world becomes pregnant around her. That's just my take on it.

Hey Actonbell,

Shame on you, for comparing centuries of racial oppression of blacks, to a woman being pregnant. What an utterly foolish statement! If you can't say anything rational regarding the subject of racism, then do us all a favor, and don't say anthing at all!

Why are we discussing racism, so much?
Because that's all obama, the dems and Left have. They can't discuss the issues because they are on the wrong side with their leftist agenda. They can't discuss the results of obama's policies, because they would have to admit they have failed miserably.

Maybe so that we don't have to discuss the even uglier sides of humans, such as why there is so much child abuse, rape, domestic violence etc.

Because its a way for people who have nothing else to talk about start the thread that will get 3000 responses all of which will not mean anything and get people talking like we are fighting the KKK all day.

I see.

Racism is as bad or worse than it has ever been, which I guess means times are worse for black folks than during slavery. Yet there is a black man in the White House.

OK......
