Sort of like the Soviet Union eh?

You know, when a person joins the military or government service, they lose certain freedoms and rights. Do you think that is part of the plan?

Isn't that one justification that terrorists use, when they murder Jewish civilians, they claim they are not really civilians, because all Jews are members of the military?

That moron Rangel has been beating his chest about a new draft for years now. It won't happen and if by some odd chance it does I refuse to fight for this country as it is now. It is under duress and invaded by non Americans I would never fight for them.

of course this is comming

obama talked about it 2 years ago

aug 2008 (before the election) obama is calling for a “national security force,”( funded by taxpayers) apparently a large paramilitary group “just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded” as the U.S. military."

do you understand who one of obama's advisor is?...........
.....Zbigniew Brzezinski, "Moreover, as America becomes an increasingly multicultural society, it may find it more difficult to fashion a consensus on foreign policy issues, except in the circumstance of a truly massive and widely perceived direct external threat." -- "The Grand Chessboard: American Primacy and its Geostrategic Imperatives," by Zbigniew Brzezinski (1997), Council on Foreign Relations, National Security Advisor to President Carter. A man who operates with precision and mastery in the dialogue of public policy decision making is Zbigniew Brzezinski; former National Security Advisor to President Carter (a Democrat), co-founder of the Tri-lateral Commission . In his book titled The Grand Chessboard, published in 1997, Brzezinski laid out the geo-strategic importance of the Middle East and Central Asia as being the regions where the next major global conflict(s) would take place. In it says the “imperial mobilization” necessary to commandeer the world’s remaining hydrocarbon reserves would be hard to embark upon without a catastrophic and catalyzing event on par with Pearl Harbor. Brzezinski’s New World Order involves the heavy use of smoke and mirrors to keep the “vassals” in line. Brzezinski’s model is heavy on back channel manipulation, secret deals and the realization hegemony is going to happen with the U.S., or without the U.S.

The Trilateral Commission's roots stem from the book, "Between Two Ages", written by Zbigniew Brzezinski in 1970. In this book, Brzezinski praised Marxism, thought of the United States as obsolete, and praised the formation of a one-world government. His thinking closely parallels that of CFR founder Edward Mandell house.

On page 72, Brzezinski writes: "Marxism is simultaneously a victory of the external, active man over the inner, passive man and a victory of reason over belief.".....
On page 83, he states: "Marxism disseminated on the popular level in the form of Communism, represented a major advance in man's ability to conceptualize his relationship to his world."......
On page 123, we find: "Marxism supplied the best available insight into contemporary reality."

does this sound familiar ??......During the (__blank year____ )political campaign, (______blank candidate________ )repeatedly told the nation that he was going to get rid of the Establishment Insiders if he became president.??????

well::::::
During the 1976 political campaign, Carter repeatedly told the nation that he was going to get rid of the Establishment Insiders if he became president. But when he took office, he promptly filled his Administration with members of the Council on Foreign Relations (284 to be exact) and The Trilateral Commission.

In 1973, Jimmy Carter became a student of Brzezinski, and a founding member of the Trilateral Commission.

and Zbigniew Brzezinski is one of obama's advisors,,,,hmmmm

They drafted civilians into national service (non-military roles) during Vietnam and WW2?

Charlie Rangel introduced the bill. I could be mistaken, but I believe anything with his name attached to it will be a hot potato that Democrats aren't willing to associate with in this election season.

When the GOP gains control of the chamber, we can pretty much relegate this bill to the trash heap.

But the fact that its been introduced is still a little disturbing. You'd think that far left liberals would be piissing themselves knowing that the government wants to mandate their cowardly asses to actually do something productive for this country.

Similar bills have been introduced since the 80's. They all faded away. So will this one.
