Why did you quote me? I mean, its a fun fact and interesting topic of conversation about cellular metabolism and uptake of calaries within the digestive tract, but really doesn't add or detract from my points.
It is not as simple as you say, "calories in, calories out".
It IS that simple. If you eat more than your daily caloric intake dictates, based on weight, height, age and ACTIVITY, you will gain weight.
Nothing burns my butt more than seeing a grossly obese mother with a child heading that way.
Exactly. It is scientific FACT that it if calories in =calories out then there will be no weight gain. It is impossible.
If anyone says it isn't they are in severe need of education. That indeed may be the problem.

Actually it is. Thats what the research is saying. Capsaicin merely does two things according to the article. One is that it prevents uptake of calories (reduces calories in), similar to the diet pill Alli or someone whos had gall bladder removal, short gut, etc. Secondly it increases metabolism of calories (calories out). No matter what the labels or fancy terms are, calories in/calories out is pretty much the entire digestive system.
I don't care what anyone says if that isn't abuse (the video) raising your child like that people don't know what abuse is. That girl is 7 years old so the mother has control over her diet, hell when she was 5 she was 200 pounds, whatever the mom is feeding her its killing her daughter. This is the same as a mother who would suffocate their child except this has lasted 7 years. The mother isn't fit to raise that child or any child for that matter and I would love to see anyone defender her (the mother).
