One has to laugh, what a mean thing to point out, that those who go to emergency rooms for any medical needs are a bunch of socialists.

("But it also seems fair to interpret the vote as a ringing endorsement of Americans’ inalienable right to avoid buying private health insurance and instead get medical care from public emergency rooms where the cost will be passed on to the taxpayers. Maybe it’s time to rethink the single-payer plan now that we have evidence that 71 percent of Missourians support the concept of socialized medicine.")

Rather unkind of a NY times writer to point that out, is she poking fun at hard working small town Americans ?

Do you believe trotting along to the emergency room and allowing the tax payer to foot the bill is socialism ?

It ain't socialism. It is worse... theft and avoiding personal responsibilities.
