If this guy is a war criminal, then so are the soldiers in the US military now killing and maiming innocent civilians, I prefer to call them terrorist.

The BS is really thick, here.

Again, and pay attention this time.

The Holocaust started before World War 2. There was a systematic rounding up of Jews specifically for extemination. The gas used for killing Jews (Zyklon B) was first used experimentally on mental patients and the mentally disabled to make sure it worked.

Google the "Final Solution". This was not wartime casualties, genius. It was mass murder. period.

It seems denial is not just a river in Egypt.

You may want to crack open a history book. The Nuremburg trials were held by the allies. Not just America. yes, some major Nazis escaped to South America, not all of them.

Nuremberg Trials - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Each of the four countries provided one judge and an alternate, as well as the prosecutors.

Of all the genocides, why is the holocaust more important than all the others?
below is a listing off google:
Bosnia-Herzegovina: 1992-1995 - 200,000 Deaths
Rwanda: 1994 - 800,000 Deaths
Pol Pot in Cambodia: 1975-1979 - 2,000,000 Deaths
Nazi Holocaust: 1938-1945 - 6,000,000 Deaths
Rape of Nanking: 1937-1938 - 300,000 Deaths
Stalin's Forced Famine: 1932-1933 - 7,000,000 Deaths

I don't think any are more "important" than any others. The reasons why the holocaust is given a lot more media attention is because of the sheer number of countries involved in the worlds' largest war. Some ~165 countries were pulled into the conflict and it literally affected the entire world. The other cases of mass genocide you listed were either smaller conflicts between neighboring countries or solely occurred within one country and did not affect anyone else. Sad, but true. The holocaust was a part of a major World War. None of the other examples were.

Is that seriously true?

I mean, I think it is severely ignorant to make a claim that the holocaust did not happen, but to be jailed for an opinion, regardless of how stupid it is? That honestly is the the abused becoming the abuser.

There really is a careful line we must follow or we become what we were defending against.

I think Germany and Austria has tried to legislate away their guilt.

Bull crap.

There is nothing unique about the holocaust and it has nothing to do with American history. The 6 million number is unscientific and was created for shock value and propaganda reasons. The Jews are doing to the Palestinians what they claim the Nazis did to them.

I am an American Jew. I am no fan of the current Israeli government and believe that Israel should be pursuing a secure peace above all else. (It is certainly up for debate what the Palestinians are truly pursuing...)

That having been said, Young Herman's statement is so far from the truth that it is almost laughable. Rounding up and systematically killing six million people is not even in the same ballpark as the current Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

Your statement is loaded with antisemitism. The "claims" that you refer to are verified by records and every reputable historian validates the events of the Holocaust. It is not just Jews making "claims" about the Holocaust. It is considered fact. This post indicates plain and simple a hatred for Jews that is so virulent that the writer can't tell fact from fiction.
