Macko stood by the president earlier this month when he called on Congress to extend unemployment insurance benefits that were passed into law last week."

It makes you wonder with the millions of people that are unemployed, who came up with her name.

Oh, I forgot. Everything is okay because Obama is black. You have stated that IS THE REASON that you voted for him. Suppose a Lab Retriever (which is also black) had run for president. Wake up- only idiots vote for candidates based upon the amount of melanin in thier skin. Why not vote for someone based on the amount of calcium in thier blood instead?

Rationality is coming back to the US. Unfortunately, a FAR RIGHT government will take hold as a reaction to the incompetence and damage that Obama has inflicted upon the nation.

I guess no one remembers how the Fascists in Italy and the Nazis in Germany gained power? Thanks Barry- through an attempt at socialist totalitarianism, you have ushered in right wing extremism. Good job- you idiot.
You nailed it, once again.

We can only pray that a majority of moderates (on both sides) get in there so that we can all live with what comes out of DC.

Either extreme is not well for American politics.

.
So in other words you're calling me an idiot?

I guess that's another one of those catch-22 situations.

When I listed my reasons for voting for Obama; I kept getting hit with "you voted for him because he's black. 90% of black people voted for him because he's black. Black black black black black" - which basically meant people were calling me a liar.

So then I said "Ok you're right! You've beat it out of me! I voted for him because he's black" and now I'm an idiot.

So my only options are to be a liar or be an idiot....not a good day for black people on CD

If you did in fact say that you voted for Obama due to his skin color, I dont know if that makes you an idiot, but the word racist comes to mind.

As far as the "idiot" question, it depends. Do you still support this admin and those that influence it because you are ignorant of the truth and facts or do you support them knowing all that but do so anyways? If the latter applies, well then I believe you can answer youre own question.

I dont think you can deny the simple fact that the blacks who did vote for him and still support him, the majority of them do so because of race, period. Maybe you arent one of them, but its a fact that the majority did due to race.

But back to the thread topic. If the admin is this idiotic when handling security for the President, why the heck do you trust them with anything else. Why trust them with YOUR security? With the countrys security? With your health care? etc etc etc

I said that in jest because when I stated my reasons for voting for Obama (which had nothing to do with color) other poster's kept replying with

black people wanted a black president
he got 90% of the black vote

and other comments so basically they were saying that black people are only capable of voting on something superficial because we're not smart enough to understand the complexity of policies and issues.

Basically they are saying that if Diddy was to run for POTUS we'd vote for him because our our simple little minds can understand is there's a black guy running for office...so what's the point of arguing with them when they've already decided my reasons for voting before I even said anything?

I still haven't seen evidence of that fact. I'm sure that some did vote for him based on race alone but the majority? By that logic it would stand to reason that the majority of white people who voted against him did it because he was black, right?

Of course not THAT would be racist

lol

Well, you might want to think about that. Lets say we rewind. Replace Obama with Puff the magic rapper or whatever that clown calls himself now, and replace McCain with Palin. Or heck, leave McCain. I think the outcome for black voters wouldve been nearly identical. But really, thats another topic for a different thread.

I don't have to think about it because you just said it. The majority of black people voted for him because he was black.

The only way to fix this would be to make it a law that only white people run for POTUS or make it illegal for blacks to vote. I can't believe no one else has thought of that.
