Fox News just reported that one of the 3 or 4 people the President trotted out at the White House, when they were seeking to extend unemployment benefits, was unemployed because she was let go for perscription drug fraud and was on probation when at the White House. She also has a prior criminal record. Oops.
Trying to find a link for the story. Supposedly Robert Gibbs addressed it today at the daily WH press briefing.
I'm sure lots of people have problems, even the unemployed. I'm trying to figure out why their issues are an embarassment to the Obama Administration however.
I won't believe it unless someone knocks on my door and shows me proof personally

How about this - they didn't know that a person who would be standing next to the President of the United States was a convicted criminal!
Don't you think that maybe there's a wee bit of a lapse in security there? Isn't that kind of a big deal? It's also not the first time - remember when those two people crashed that WH party or whatever the shin-dig was?
Yes, this is a MAJOR embarrassment for the administration, just probably not for the reasons that many think.
