you can hate all you want, but it only hurts you, not anyone else.

That is what I see coming from this administration.
It's not only political views.

-political tensions
-racial tensions
-religious tensions
-class tensions

I don't recall a President so openly verbally hostile towards groups, be they political, racial or economic.
Our government is dividing us..pitting us against each other and breaking us up into disjointed masses of people.

Just remember...DIVIDED WE FALL.

I think the word "hate" is used a little too easily these days. Disagreement rarely equals hate, but calling it that is a political ploy - a strawman. In those cases where it does, the "hater" needs to get a grip.

It's because of those evil Repugs!!

Or is it the *******s fault?

As long as everyone is reasonably respectful, I've always found that I can learn more from others who disagree with my opinions that I could ever hope to learn from a room full of people with my same opinion.

Yes, opinions can get heated due to how strongly we hold the opinion, but even if a heated discussion happens, it can be respectful if you're debating resonable people.

I've always found the following to be pretty true. Those who know the least proclaim it the loundest and believe it the strongest.

Open minded people are a commodity is seemingly very short supply these days. Open minded people are the most willing to learn from life's experiences and talking to others about their opinions and experiences in life. Closed mined people refuse to "grow" from life's experdiences and just sit back and spew their firmly heald and never changing beliefs very loudly.....yes we can hear you, but maybe you should realize that you always learn more by using your own two ears....than you'll ever learn by flapping your lips/gums loudly.

Very good post. One of the major problems here is that so many simply do not know how much they do not know.
