The House taking steps to uncap liability of Oil Comp damages. Well, the House Dems taking steps. The Repubs, of course, not in favor of holding any benevolent Oil Companies accountable. Now to the Senate, where any like version will, of course, be filibustered by the Senate Repubs.

The Republicans always do what ever the big money interests bribe them to do and they don't care a wit about what's good for the country or what is the right thing to do. They're just a corrupt party of evil. At least they'll have fun at their book burning though.

209-193 vote with Democrats controlling 256 seats? Apparently there was bipartisan opposition, not just "republicans" as the left insinuates.

The bill sticks a $2 per barrel tax on producers "to fund land purchases for national parks, forests and wildlife refuges". Another tax to be passed on to the consumer so democrats can claim they are taxing "BIG OIL" when they are only raising the price of fossil fuel to consumers. Wonder what else is in there?,.......maybe we'll have to pass it so we can find out what's in the bill.
