Now that the nasty old bat Helen Thomas is gone, there was a bit of competition for the front row seat. AP gets Helen's old seat, Fox moves up.
By this decision, the board shows how much they respect Fox as a news organization, even of the face of petitions from the Left to award the seat to anybody but Fox.
The White House Correspondents Association voted unanimously Sunday afternoon to move Fox News to the front row of the White House briefing room.
The 2010-2011 WHCA board includes representatives from USA Today, Reuters, C-SPAN, the New York Times, Politico, Time Magazine, NPR and the DC Examiner.
Liberal groups had lobbied for NPR's placement in the front row over Fox, which one petition called a "right-wing propaganda outlet."
Funny. I never would have called her that. Is that really your opinion of her? I guess it takes a certain type of person to see her that way.
Well, based on her latest comments about the Jews, she is even worse than that, which is why she was fired. She was and is a Jew-hater. She has indicated this throughout her career. Her mistake was giving voice to her opinions.
The point of the thread is that FOX NEWS, the outlet the Left loves to hate and disparage, has been honored by their PEERS with a front row seat.
The 'truth' and 'just the facts' have gone by the wayside with biased opinions from most news sources these days, so whether they honor FOX or any other supposed news source we will still have to do our own research to find out the 'real' truth.
As far as Helen Thomas, it was time for her to retire.
The unanimous vote sent a strong message to the White House.
