The people you know is not a great sample size. I don't know your friends but I doubt they are Democrats or true Libertarians or sane Republicans? That is only an assumption because I don't think anyone in their right mind would vote for Palin. If the alternative was Obama they could still vote for a Libertarian or for Nader.
