Well if history repeats itself as they say..then:

Bush is the modern Hoover while Obama is the modern FDR.

Neither did the US any good in the long run.

Absolutely. The repugs are still blaming clinton to this day! The right love to do the ol' twist and blame the democrats for all of their screw-ups instead of manning up and admitting they failed. "Blame bush" isn't a twist and blame tactic the right love to use, bush truly does need to be blamed from his complete failure at president. It doesn't matter "well he's not in office now, it's obama's fault!" Obama wasn't handed the county in great shape with a bow on top like clinton did to bush, bush handed over the keys to a absolute disaster on a downward spiral and said "have fun!"
Bush will go down as the worst president in history and deserves every ounce of criticism he gets.

Maybe when PEOPLE start accepting personal accountability things might change...But I do not see any people apart of any party doing that..

Fair point.

Without doing a search for a specific quote, I think it's about the tendency to talk about what he inherited. He did inherit a mess, no question. The problem is that there is a time limit for most people on that approach for the reasons I stated in the earlier post.

George Bush, who doesn't have a vote in congress and who no longer occupies the White House, is to blame for it all.

He broke Obama's promise to put all bills on the White House web site for five days before signing them.

He broke Obama's promise to have the congressional health care negotiations broadcast live on C-SPAN.

He broke Obama's promise to end earmarks.

He broke Obama's promise to keep unemployment from rising above 8 percent.

He broke Obama's promise to close the detention center at Guantanamo in the first year.

He broke Obama's promise to make peace with direct, no precondition talks with America 's most hate-filled enemies during his first year in office, ushering in a new era of global cooperation.

He broke Obama's promise to end the hiring of former lobbyists into high White House jobs.

He broke Obama's promise to end no-compete contracts with the government.

He broke Obama's promise to disclose the names of all attendees at closed White House meetings.

He broke Obama's promise for a new era of bipartisan cooperation in all matters.

He broke Obama's promise to have chosen a home church to attend Sunday services with his family by Easter of last year.

Yes. it's all George Bush's fault. President Obama is nothing more than a puppet in the never-ending failed Bush administration.

If only George Bush wasn't still in charge, all of President Obama's problems would be solved. His promises would have been kept; the economy would be back on track; Iran would have stopped its work on developing a nuclear bomb and would be negotiating a peace treaty with Israel . North Korea would have ended its tyrannical regime, and integrity would have been restored to the federal government.

It is amazing the levels that these people will stoop too. Right now, I think we would all take Bush's economic policies back over the failures of the current administration and the pathetic Democrat controlled congress. You know, Bush the President whom while he spent uncontrollably still spent far less than now, and the same guy who called for oversight into Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac and was denied by Dems.

But seriously, this is what they are running on? They pretty much have NO wins or successes to speak of so they are reverting to what worked 2 years ago. I think people are a lot smarter now and realize that Obama and his ilk just equates to worse economic conditions and corruption.
In this respect, the democrats are a one trick pony.

Stimulus I not producing jobs - Bush's fault
Stimulus II not producing jobs - Bush's fault
When Stimulus III is not producing jobs - Bush's fault
Cash for clunkers did not stimulate the economy - Bush's fault
Other tax credit promotions did not stimulate the economy - Bush's fault
0bamaCare unpopular - Bush's fault
Cap & Trade unpopular - Bush's fault
Oil skimmers sat idle as oil washed ashore in the Gulf coast - Bush's fault
0bama bowls like he is in the special Olympics - Bush's fault
Private sector investors sitting on their money, refusing to invest - Bush's fault
Private sector business owners refusing to hire new employees - Bush's fault
Gitmo not closed yet - Bush's fault
Bills signed by 0bama with tens of thousands of earmarks - Bush's fault
Less then the minimum number of troops requested, sent to Afghanistan - Bush's fault
Numerous promises broken by 0bama - Bush's fault
Numerous gaffes by 0bama and Biden - Bush's fault

No, not one thing. I had heard it all before. He mostly used catch phrases, and generalities whenever he spoke. He relied on emotion
and perceptions, never any real data.

His response to that is to point fingers. For that, he gets some blame. Strong leaders do not do that.
0bama knew what he was walking into, he did not fly in from planet Mars in November 2009.

0bama said his Stimulus would jolt the economy, and he presented a rosy post-Stimulus picture with unemployment below 8%.

Now that his many trillions of dollars in deficit spending, and all his policies passed by congress and signed into law, have not turned the economy around, and unemployment continues to hover around 10%, with no relief in sight, is not Bush's fault.

Absolutley! Who knew that George had that much control over Obama. It's like he never really left office. HE just controls Obama with a remote control and so that way, he looks bad, but only those smart lefties really know the truth. That Obama is doing this against his will, and it's all Bush's fault!
No one taught Barry to be responsible for his own actions. None of these elites ever had to say "my bad". They are like toddlers, saying "he did it, he did it! IT wasn't me, teacher, it was all him!"
