But it's THE POTENTIAL OF OUR GENERATION, I'm speaking of. I think you need to read up on the progess the Gen Y'ers have made, and will make. There are plenty of articles on the topic.

I do blame them, and they willingly accept their faults. But you should learn the difference between the Greatest Generation and Baby Boomers.
You are correct. I think we disagree on socialism that's all. I didn't know you were referring to baby boomers. When i hear grandparents my mind thinks of the greatest generation. I beleive the hippies were baby boomers. Again I blame hippies. Our generation will never unlock our potential unless we unite as a nation and also realize how lucky we are to have what we have. And yes of course i am part of the young generation.

Right, I mean....I'm liberal, so I find the word hippy to be offensive, many people of that generation weren't hippies-George W Bush, for example.

But, I think you need to realize the social order and the social norms that affect our generation to understand why we might be for universal healthcare, or work force equality, or gay marriage.

There are a lot of factors that go into making our generation unique among modern ones. It's about the openess, the computer, internet, education.

I call BS on that. Oregon has had a state risk-pooling insurance program since 1990. At least 34 states had risk-sharing insurance programs way before Obamacare was passed.

Non-Old People Love Obamacare | The New Republic

Of course the entitlement generation, those 65% and older have more sense. They disapprove of "Obamacare" by a whooping 60%! Good thing for them, they won't have to participate, getting Medicare and all.
Most of them are clueless and don't even realize that they will be having to fork over money for this in a year or two. When they do, it will be hillarious.

Nothing like being 23 and working 2 jobs....while your friends sit on the dole and play xbox all day to drive any socialist tendancies right out of your body.

Most people are morons and have no idea what this will actually mean to them.

Oh yeah, it's gonna suck when a gen y'er in 10 years cuts off your social security and medicaid, because you guys bankrupted it.

I think you people should be nicer to us.

The problem is to many college kids think about it from a kids perspective. They think about going out having fun and being single. They don't think about working 40hrs weeks paying car insurance, mortgage, taxes, bills and having 2 kids who need college, braces, food, clothing, money to go out themselves. Thats not even mentioning all the material items kids want like ipods, fancy phones or whatever else. Then I don't think they would want so much tax.

haha, you got it! Chances are it'll be a retirement palace, given the "socialist" tendancies of my generation, lol.
