They haven't found him yet, so lets hold of judgement. Often depictions of killers and eye witness testimony are wrong.
They don't have to have found him for the media, NAACP, Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton to hit the ground running with this.....as many white folks claims happens EVERY time a white person is alleged to have done something to black people.
To dispel that MYTH, here we have a serial killer, a white man, attacking black men. He has killed five and wound about 20. Where is the NAACP, Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton and the 24 hours national media looping that some white say always happens if a white person is alleged to have done something to blacks?
I have heard about this serial killer. Hopefully, they will capture him soon.
I agree that the totality of the statement above is a little vague. I am still working on it and will report back with my progress.
Right now, I have a little doubt about the statement "...when a black person does something to a white person, in contrast, there is silence".
Through most of US history, when a black person 'did something' to a white person, it usually resulted in lynching, prison or the death sentence, often regardless of the guilt or innocence of the black person. For many, the allegation is the same as the deed (see the novel To Kill a Mockingbird; recall when Atticus Finch said to Scout "Tom Robinson was a dead man as soon as Eullela (sic) opened her mouth to scream" (paraphrased, but close).

Thats because they have PR managers who wait until most of the story is in, before jumping off the cliff.
Sharpton has done that to often. Lets wait until the catch the guy, and see what happens then.
You're saying that someone isn't going to criticize the meal, when they haven't even eaten it yet. They may smell it, but they haven't taken a bite.

No....I was refering to the response of a lot of white folks to events that they think are "racial" that involves a black person doing something to a white person. They then go on to say things like "Why is this not getting more attention? If it were a white person doing something to a black person, Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton and the liberal media would be all over it". Well....this case debunks that myth.
Well, I guess that dispels the use of this example!
