And another thing, all the liberals on the left cry out over separation of church and state. Yet we are paying a "religious" guy to "talk" to people who share his Islam faith?!?!

Lets just imagine if there was some large group of Christians in another country that were killing their own and terrorizing the world. You think the Left would be outraged if we sent Pat Robertson out their to talk to them on tax payers dime? Of course they would. Theyd have a fit.

Why is our money going to this, and why isnt this man being investigated. Yet again, we have to rely on people on the internet and talking heads to do the work of investigating this guy. Expect more on this guys past and beliefs in the comings days/weeks as CITIZENS are doing the governments/medias job in looking into this man.

Because people only like picking and choosing what they want to see, and then shooting down the other side/other people's religious beliefs when they do so.

There's no real logic behind it, just partisan hackery.

Please. Keep on making generalizations. Maybe one day they'll come true.

I may not like Pat Robertson personally, but I don't have a problem with his beliefs.

And I believe the same for muslims.

This is a good idea. Sending an American muslim to the middle east to try to ease tensions CAN'T be a bad idea, especially since America created more terrorists than they put down when this idiotic "War on Terror" started.

????

WHy dont you actually look into this guys beliefs and words before you start spouting off stupid nonsense. Partisan hackery? Please. Apparently you ignore what people have exposed on the guy, or worse yet, you dont give a damn which speaks volumes about your poor excuse for philosophy and morals and right/wrong.

WOW! So much hysteria, and not one linky or any sources. Am I to just believe your little diatribe? How about some objective info on the Imam, then if you'd like to discuss cooly and calmly afterwards....

Did you even read that blog and see the links to back their blog post up ?

Look beyond the URL for a change...they just might be telling the truth with links to back them up like this:

EDITORIAL: Tax dollars to build mosques - Washington Times

Further in that blog you'll read that USAID is funding rebuilding of mosques even though it's against Fed rules. USAID says they are "stimulating the economy" in Iraq by funding that.

So should we start saying.."Long live Islam" yet ?
