So anyone who identifies with any political party becomes that political party's responsibility/liability? Is this liberal logic? Have the liberals gone mad? Again?
I'm sure if a liberal used the N-word, you'd be saying "oh, typical liberal."

Thank you. I didn't realize the transcript was on the article there. I retract my statements regarding her. I don't think her comments were racist in any way.
She stated it was wrong to use the language and criticized anyone that does.

What a stupid broad that "Dr. Laura", maybe she should close her yap about race relations and stick to something she knows about. Whatever that might be.
She's no more a racist than any black guy that uses the same term. She certainly wasn't calling anyone the word the way we see black folks use it.

Seems to me EVERYONE has gone mad. We never hear a white guy complaining that a black guy called him a 'hon*ey'. This whole issue of racial slurs just shows the amount of ignorance that STILL plagues our society. We are all different colors because of the parts of the globe that we come from. Nothing more. We are ALL people with the same basic needs. Right, left, middle, in the corner, WHO CARES. Morons grow on all sides of the fence. Grow up.

SCHLESSINGER: I'm Dr. Laura Schlessinger, talking to Jade. What did you think about during the break, by the way?
CALLER: I was a little caught back by the N-word that you spewed out, I have to be honest with you. But my point is, race relations --
SCHLESSINGER: Oh, then I guess you don't watch HBO or listen to any black comedians.
CALLER: But that doesn't make it right. I mean, race is a [unintelligible] --
SCHLESSINGER: My dear, my dear --
CALLER: -- since Obama's been in office --
SCHLESSINGER: -- the point I'm trying to make --
CALLER: -- racism has come to another level that's unacceptable.
SCHLESSINGER: Yeah. We've got a black man as president, and we have more complaining about racism than ever. I mean, I think that's hilarious.
Dr. Laura made good points in my view. She did not use the word harmfully. She used it demonstrably. When will Black people finally understand the hypocrisy that eminates from their use of the N-Word? It's not about a white person wanting to say the N-Word; It's about calling out Black people for their casual attitude towards the word, as if there's nothing wrong with it.
Dr. Laura was simply pointing that out, and yet again we have an over-sensitive Black person trying to make it into a racist rant.
She used the word to quote what she hears in comedy shows. That's a different context than her spontaneously using it to express her feelings. Jade used it later to quote her. It's fair to challenge the point she was making about the use of the word, but to assign a different intent is unfair.
Either way, who cares about Dr. Laura?
