The left truly hates America.
I don't think anyone would object to the "original" pledge; you know, the first one, written by a socialist. It didn't contain the words "under god" in it. You know, the one that was changed by the christers.

The Liberal Moral Compass is guided by law: If it's legal, it's moral.

It's legal to build a mosque at Ground Zero, therefore they see nothing wrong with it.

Disgusting.

Let me enlighten you.

The Establishment clause keeps religion out of government. Simple demographics dictate that it will, in the majority of cases, be the majority religion that runs afoul of the Establishment clause. It is a simple matter of probability. More of religion X means more opportunities for entanglement in public institutions. In the US, Christianity is far and away the dominant religion and as long as that remains true, it will be involved in the vast majority of Establishment clause cases.

The Free Exercise clause keeps government out of religion. Simple demographics dictate that it will, in the majority of cases, be the minority religions that are the subject of Free Exercise violations. Islam is a minority religion in this country and therefore much more likely to encounter prejudice against it, leading to the government overstepping its bounds and committing constitutional violations.

So what you attribute to "liberals" as some kind of absurd conspiracy is actually the result of your ignorance of Constitutional law and how demographics play into it.

It doesn't exist. See above. This idea is wholly based in ignorance and a misunderstanding of the law.

No, it is the same group that believes in separation of church and state to promote religious freedom. Obviously this is a concept that eludes you.

Well then your conspiracy theory doesn't make a bit of sense then, does it?

What is more likely, that liberals who have every reason to dislike fundamentalist Islam irrationally defend it, or that you just don't have clue what you are talking about?

Picking a choosing constitutional amendments is an affliction of both the right and the left. That being said... that has nothing to do with the issue at hand.

Also what is it with Lib's and their blind allegiance to Muslim's?
Blind allegiance to Islam? As an atheist, I can assure you that this liberal has no allegiance to any religion.

Yes, Muslims like their Christian and Jewish co-religionist have elements that are in favor of the subjugation of women, gays and minorities and when those elements raise their ugly heads, Liberals oppose and condemn them. That that isn't the issue at hand either, is it?

I think their support is because they see the right standing in firm opposition to the Islamist and they see the enemy of their enemy as their friend.
Think or imagine?

Even Harry Reid threw Obama under the bus on this one. Its a shameless self serving ploy to get re elected, but even he was smart enough to not support it.

Also what is it with Lib's and their blind allegiance to Muslim's? I mean isnt this the same group that HATES anything concerning religion. Amazing, isn't it?

Here you have a religion that murders and enslaves women, kills gays as you say, but Islam has a new founded champion for their causes.

Remember, the Left is ALWAYS on the side of hamas, hezbollah and the palestinians when it comes to Israel.
