Saudi Arabia is an Islamic Monarchy ... a theocratic monarchy if you will. America isn't ... kinda basic. We have freedom OF and FROM religion here ... it's a good thing.

The Qu-ran is the constitution of Saudi Arabia. As much as some of the woefully uncurious and askeered people would like it to be, the Bible is NOT our constitution.

"Do unto others, as you would have them do unto you" Smart man said that.
Same guy also said, "Love thy neighbor as thyself."

And another smart guy guy said,

"What is hateful to you, do not to your fellow men."

So our society is obligated to let in people whose goal is to destroy our freedom of religion?

I guess we should have saved the Japanese some money by blowing up our own ships in Cold Harbor. Maybe that would have made them like us better

I'd like to see states start passing laws declaring the freedom of religion doesn't apply to Islam. They pass laws about gay marriage and that has no bearings on my life at all. A guy making me pray towards Mecca at gun point affects me much more than a couple guys making butt love to each other.

As long as they're not breaking any of our laws, yes.

How do you know that all Muslims want to destroy our freedom of religion

addendum

Please, don't quote religious materials of Islam, I can quote identical religious materials from Christians.

Nah..it's just campaign pandering.
Obama is using 1 or 2 Republican comments to say the entire party wants to take everyone's SS and gamble it away on Wall Street.

It's getting close to elections..each party will seek out and voice publicly about how bad, unethical, rotten to the core, unAmercan the other side is.

You are right. It's not a freedom of religion issue either, according to Obama.

His OWN words AFTER his dinner speech to the Muslims:

Quote:
"President Barack Obama told CNN Saturday that in defending the right of Muslims to build a community center and mosque near ground zero in a speech Friday night, he was "not commenting on the wisdom" of the project but trying to uphold the broader principle that the government should treat "everyone equal, regardless" of religion."

http://www.breitbart.tv/backtrack-ob...d-zero-mosque/
Not only did he backpedal, but by saying, he was "not commenting on the wisdom of the project", he is, in fact, saying, it is more than a freedom of religion and a Constitutional issue.

And I find it interesting that Louis Farrakhan would call him "brother", which anyone, such as himself, attached to Islam would know he wouldn't and couldn't make that statement, unless, the person was, in fact, a Muslim.

Quote:
UPDATE, October 13, 2008: Louis Farrakhan calls Barack Obama "the Messiah."

"You are the instruments that God is gonna use to bring about universal change, and that is why Barack has captured the youth. And he has involved young people in a political process that they didn’t care anything about. That’s a sign. When the Messiah speaks, the youth will hear, and the Messiah is absolutely speaking."

What does the Koran say?

Surah 5:51 "Oh you who believe (Muslims) do not take the Jews and el-nasara (Christians) as friends. They are friends to one another. And whoever among you takes them as friends, so surely he is one of them. Surely God does not guide the unjust people.

What does that tell us about Obama's professed faith as a Christian? That he isn't one.

He is able to lie about that fact IF he believes in his heart he is a Muslim.

Surah 16:106 "Whoever becomes an infidel in God after he believed, except one who was forced and his heart is secure in faith; but whoever opens his chest to the unbelief, the anger of God will be on them and they will have great torment."

Social Security doesn't direct anger at entire racial, religious, and cultural groups.

While I agree there are a lot of stupid things our politicians bring up, I have said this myself, this is a little more important to who we are as a whole, than social security is.
