I live in Germany.
Your comparison, even more than being wrong, is disgusting and hatemongering. I'm sure you could have used a word that would be accurate and not inflammatory.
This is a shameful post.

False. Words matter.
People shouldn't be bandying about words when they don't know the meaning.

You do know that the Nazi's were" The National Socialist German Workers' Party" Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei

What makes Target protestors any different from The American Family Association http://www.afa.net/ that wants you to boycott Home Depot and Amtrak?

I'll believe it when it actualy happens. Until then this was another right wing talking point hatched up by someone wearing a tinfoil hat.

Not only jewish people were murdered. Almost 13 Million people were killed by the Nazis but hell, lets compare that to a western government. I just wonder what Americans are being taught in school that so many talk so much BS?
Weren't people trying to silence anyone that was against the war in Iraq? I thought that had a totalitarian touch. You know the "you are not a Patriot if you are not supporting US foreign policies".

As I recall there was a certain group of singers that announced opposition to Bush's war in Iraq and the right destroyed them- or at least they tried to. People are free to do business with whom they want. If companies that are sensitive to the whims of retail sales wish to engage in political campaigns, they do so at their own peril. Like the article says:

The flap has revealed new implications of a recent Supreme Court ruling that appeared to benefit corporations by clearing the way for them to spend company funds directly in elections. Companies taking sides in political campaigns risk alienating customers who back other candidates.

Exactly. And conservatives have long done just that. I dare any business in a heavy Republican area to put an OBAMA 2012 sign in the window!

The only people to ever use that phrase before Bush were Lenin, Mousillini and Orwell in "1984"

The fairness doctrine does not suppress; it equals.
Fox won a lawsuit that says that they're not news and can lie or embellish as they choose. After all, it's not news, it's entertainment.

Yeah, that was pretty much the start of the anti-Bush wave in Europe.

It's interesting that you don't consider it hatemongering to say that all soldiers are rapists and murderers. And I thought you said you lived in California. Either way, it makes sense.
