Oxy tends to be Rush's drug of choice by his own admission. Rush is a bigot pure plain and simple and most of the people who listen to him are bigots. So what do you expect.
He loves the military so much that he dodged the draft with a boil on his ass. When he had the opportunity to really make a statement about patriotism by joining the service and committing hiimself to protecting America, he ran and hid.

Oh, he give millions to that foundation he has for the troops. Remember that letter of Dirty Harry's, totally backfired in his face and earned the foundation millions of dollars when he auctioned it off.
Suffice it to say, he has done more for the troops than most democrats and liberals.
