It costs big bucks to create a cancer drug well into the billions of dollars for just one compound that actually works. It is not cheap.

Then you can't afford breakthrough meds either cause it is not cheap to invent a compound that actually works and to get it to market. Someone has to pay for it.

Insurance companies have refused to pay for Bevacizumab (chemical name) since the FDA approval for colorectal cancer in 2004.

Why are they not accused of being death panels?

A conservative will NEVER let the facts or the truth get in the way of their ideaology.

The derisive remarks and opinions about President Obama and his policies are driven by fear, ignorance, hate, and bigotry. This is just one more example.

With the USA doing 70% of the medical and drug research we will not be the only country effected either as there is less reward for risk involved. That is just the way it is really.
