Didn't see the author, but can you show me a copy from his website, or any other respected news organization? Hell even Fox News should be carrying it right?
Digging yourself into a hole dude. This was COMMON KNOWLEDGE for a year now among the C&R folks.
I let out a sigh of relief after reading the story. While i'd love to get my hands on a few of those rifles, and I loathe the government from preventing it from happening, I am somewhat relieved to know that the "100,000 rifles" weren't some sort of list similar to Clinton's weapons ban list. Still, this is bad enough.
You might be surprised at what some of the more extremist gun-happy types think should be legal.
And before the jackals start howling, I'm a gun owner too. I just don't think it is unreasonable for the government to restrict the Second Amendment to not cover howitzers and tactical nuclear weapons, just as it is reasonable to prosecute someone for yelling "fire" in a crowded theater in spite of the First.

Public safety is a compelling state interest.
^^^Only when it suits one's political agenda. Otherwise public safety is usually ignored completely.
So the one who screams the loudest for the First Amendment regarding the Ground Zero mosque has absolutly no problem encouraging the violation of the Second Amendment when it suits his political agenda. How convenient.
These firearms fall under the category of curio & relic.

i know it does. still doesn't seem right for them to make lotsa money off what was basically a gift. then again, i'd rather they sold 'em back to us than to someone else.
Do you think the MSM in this country will report it?
Fox news, surely.
