Erik Prince CEO of Black Water now named Xe moves to Abu Dhabi United Arab Emirates. The top former managers are facing criminal charges. Erik can’t be extradited back to the US to face crimes or provide documents and evidence in any ongoing case or investigations. Interesting why he chose United Arab Emirates where the U.S. government can’t check evidence or extradite him back to be questioned.

Yes Im sure Cheney and Lyn will be visiting him on their vacations there to see their personal friends...they have to run now, but in 2001 bandar Bush took his private jet back to UAE, when no one else could even fly out of the U.S. after 9/11. ("House of Bush house of Saud"-Craig Unger)

By "friends", do you mean the government officials in UAE or the Twelve Billion Bucks that Cheney had Paul Bremer hide there for him?

Erik's goons are probably sitting there guarding that pile of hundred dollar bills. Erik himself will fit right in over there. He's already a Prince...

Makes me wonder why the government contracts with these criminals to begin with? Oh,,, yeah that was the past administration for eight years and now this one for two. I think someone will soon get the hint that doing business with them isn’t the right thing to do.

BlackWater gunmen earned $100,000 + per year while our own military troops got paid a small fraction of that. Something is wrong with this picture.

War for profit isn't exactly a new concept and Blackwater just filled the niche for the kind of super soldier that will be the mercenary prototype of the future. Corporate wars, the kind we are now seeing, fighting over commodities, financial dominance and cultural hegemony will be the next long term solution for a nation eating more than it's natural share of the global pie.

Default Criminal acts of CEOs who profess to be Christians

It’s not just the issue of a mercenary or super soldier that is the issue here. It’s the criminal acts of a CEO and top officials operating a business within this country and under this nations laws who find the best way to deal with issues of their corporations or business is to “leave” the country to avoid investigations and prosecution.

Erik Prince in the past news interviews projected himself as a Christian leader acting for the best interests of his religion. It appears to be a different Christian leadership, ethics, and values than what I am familiar with. His religious values and principals are not what I learned in Sunday school many years ago. My guess is he (and others) worships the dollar with greed and fails to follow the teaching of Christ.

Talk to George W. Bush Jr., Dick Cheney and Donald Rumsfeld. They gave millions upon millions to these contractors on the premise it would free up the armed forces to fight the Iraqi insurgents while contractors did things like protection of diplomats. The rationale for this was created by how Donald Rumsfeld structure the military forces prior to the invasion to Iraq and lack of planing by him and other senior Defense Department and State Department officials on how to control a post-Saddam Iraq.

Headlines today about the audit of rebuilding Iraq. Saw it going into the office, didnt want to read it until I survive the day. Apparently more corruption is being exposed.

Love them or hate them Blackwater and other contractors did work that needed to be done and could not be by our own forces due to rules of engagement. If Bush/Cheney had wanted to cover up anything Bush would have pulled a Clinton and offered amnesty to contractors upon leaving office. He did not.
