Good read here on Beck's attempt to usurper Martin Luther King Jr's legacy.

Quote:
There is a telling anecdote in Glenn Beck's 2003 memoir about how the cable news host
was influenced by the great fantasist Orson Welles. To travel between performances in Manhattan,
Beck recounts, Welles hired an ambulance, sirens blaring, to ferry him around town -- not
because Welles was ill but because he wanted to avoid traffic.

Most of us would regard this as dishonest, a ploy by the self-confessed charlatan that Welles was.
Beck saw it as a model to be emulated.

Still dodging the queston about why you think this event and the charity funds raised for Special Operations Warrior Foundation makes Beck an evil man (your words). Stop deflecting and answer the question please.

We as Americans must protect this freedom forever at any cost

What is important is how much money was raised to help our children.
This event was not advertised as a fund raiser for this charity, either in the OP or on the website. The website talked about the foundation, but didn't say what the money would be used for.

What Beck's rally proved yesterday, was not that his Tea Party and Evangelist followers are
such a dominating political group, it simply proved once again that Glenn Beck and Sarah
Palin have perfected their methods of preaching to the choir, and that they know how to
use the massive, well-funded ultra-conservative media machine that FOXNews and all the
conservative political action groups have laid at their feet. It also proved what we already
knew, both Glenn Beck and Sarah Palin are Bible-Belt and fundamentalist Christian rock stars
who use the apocalypse and fear of change as their most powerful tools for achieving monetary gain.

This is where actually watching Glenn Beck from time to time would come in handy.

Just sayin' ...

Why, to become brainwashed like so many of his followers have been already?

Did it need to be advertised to be a success for Special Operation Warrior Foundation?

Restoring Honor - 8.28.10

Thank you to all those that attended 8/28 both in person and online

With your support and help we were able to raise more than $5-million dollars for the Special Operations Warrior Foundation.
If you would like to donate to their cause you can do so online here OR you can text SOWF to 85944 to make a $10 donation.

As for how the funds will be used by SOWF, I suspect in the areas of greatest need unless specified otherwise by the individual donors. That is of course unless you think you have to be consulted for approval.

Special Operations Warrior Foundation

SOWF is a 4-star charity Charity Navigator Rating - Special Operations Warrior Foundation

Nope.

So Katiana could've answered her own question.
