You've got to love Limbaugh and his crowd: didn't grow up in a black city, next to no black friends, tries to form mass judgement and generalizations of blacks, then he's baffled why they don't like him...
I think its all part of the collective dementia thats entrenched itself in America and its main symptom is this insane Limbaugh way of thinking. i believe the terrorists have somehow put something in the drinking water resulting in some people no longer having the ability to live,speak,think and act rationally.
Rush is a racist jerk - saying "If you don't like it don't listen!" will not change that. I don't listen and I do not tune it just to hear him act like an idiot but I am still entitled to call him what he is, a fat racist jerk and anyone that defends his statements has to have at least two of these things (racist and jerk) in common with him. Yet you call blacks a monolith and wonder why most of us vote for Democrats and call black Conservatives Uncle Toms. If you are defending Rush Limbaugh and wondering why, your answer lies right in front of you every time you look in the mirror. I have never been a fan of bullies.
The only piece of clothing Limbaugh is missing when he broadcasts his show is the white sheet over his head he wears the remainder of the day, with a small burning cross in his hands.
Do you think Bush NEVER left the ranch, to say, go to a baseball game, as insecure a venue as a Broadway play, IMO.
You are making some conjectures here that are not based on fact, re expense of guarding Bush at his ranch, etc.
When did OBAMA go on vacation overseas? Michelle went to Spain this summer, IIRC, Obama has not vacationed out of the country recently, if ever. (I tried a google search and only got hits about MICHELLE'S trip to Spain.) Also, do you think Laura Bush and/or their daughters never went on a trip outside of Texas? I'm not the one drinking kool-aid.
It's common sense, Bush's ranch was a secure place, away from the public. The Secret Service did their initial security evaluation of the Bush ranch, and repeated visits become quick, cheap, easy and secure.
The 0bama's likes to go to new places almost every time, many of which are very public and even in foreign countries - very, very expensive, requiring multitudes of advance Secret Service agents, the costs, safety concerns and complexity are mind boggling compared to the simplicity of the Bush ranch. That's my only point.
