A few corrections....

Warrantless wiretaps have been halted. Only those that conform to the provisions of FISA continue. No one complained over Bush's wiretaps that conformed to FISA. It was the ones that were -- by Bush's own admission -- extra-legal in their entirety that were problematic.

The Patriot Act in its now often amended form is not the abusive statute that neocon Republicans first hoodwinked Congress into passing.

The Bush bailouts (TARP) were opposed by right-wing whackjobs. Bush was forced into backing them only by the impending collapses that his own policies had brought us to the brink of.

ARRA was developed by Democraric staff and consultant types between September 2008 and January 2009. Input was gleaned from Republican Congressional sources, but not from Bush.

Bush's dismally failed Iraq operation has been winding down since 2008 under a negotiated plan that Obama first put on the table and that Bush was forced to flip-flop by 180 degrees into adopting. There are no more US combat troops in Iraq and fewer than 50K of any type. US and NATO operations in Afghanistan have been ramped up by a necessity brought about by Bush's having walked away from swift and total victory there, handing everything that we had gained right back to the Taliban and al Qaeda. What a brilliant leader!

Your Obama = Bush meme is meanwhile another total and fictional right-wing failure. There are next to no ways in which the administrations of the two men have actually been alike. They did both indeed live in the White House and they flew around on Air Force One. Beyond that childish level, you have no claim to make.

The notion that Bush was treated so much worse than Clinton is downright laughable. I think even Ken Starr would find that hilarious.

I guess that means that barack obama rapes and murders children? lots of tin foil hat wearing people in these forums.
Gacey's brutal crimes were overtly of personal origin. His politics were incidental. McVeigh's acts were overtly of political origin. His politics were NOT incidental, but central to the rationale that drove him to the brutal crime he committed.

Solid proof of this.

The stabbing is just your opinion.

Did you happen to know that the Fort Hood terrorist killer was a left winger? He killed 13 innocent people ya know. He is a perfect example of how the left wing operates. See, I gave you one example of proof, now it is your turn.

I cannot wait to see your proven examples. ( hoping it is not just some left wing BS from MSNBC )
Why should he show proof, you never do with your rhetoric.

it's called guilt by association, and it seems to be pretty popular on both sides. gacey has been photographed with linda carter. this must mean that jimmy knew all about what was going on. it's liberal to rape and kill children. after all, isn't NAMBLA a far left group?

My new policy is to ignore the known small fry, but seriously, did you not listen to any of Bush's speeches? Never mind the mushroom cloud and yellowcake howlers, how about that delicious Axis if Evil bit? Drove the ever-paranoid North Koreans right out of the Agreed Framework and into the development of nuclear weapons. What a joke your President was!!!

Has the Republican party become a domestic threat to National Security?

Uh, yes!

The Beck entourage/saga has yet to be played out in its' entirety. That is the one i am keeping an eye on! Expect more Goebbels-like Jedi mind-tricks fogging the rationale of the unsuspecting......

This is getting weird....
