I utterly agree. Although I voted for President Obama, I thought his being awarded the Nobel Peace Prize was,and is, ridiculous. It shows what a sham that prize is. It has become meaningless, to many thoughtful person.

Agreed. He vowed to increase the military presence in Afghanistan and he wins the peace prize???? I think the prize was really more of a dig at Baby Bush, which many considered a war mongering. Still, he should not have won.
Presumably he'd have to do something to get another one.
He certainly could nominate someone for a Nobel Peace Prize (as both a Nobel laureate and a world leader). Who would it be? Biden? Rahm? Hillary? Elena Kagan? Pelosi?
Since he's given nothing to the left wing of the Dems despite their supporting him early on, perhaps he could nominate Kucinich for a Nobel Peace Prize (and Dennis would actually deserve one....)

Well , he got the first one for doing NOTHING . The nominations opened in September , and he was elected Pres. in November . Sworn in on January . Talk about a " fast-track " eh ?

He did nothing to get the last one....why would that change?
