I didnt easily dismiss it, or support a so called overthrow.. I made a factual statement, which isnt support.

Was this just a factual statement as well or did you wish to imply something greater then just the fact that at some point Jefferson suggested the aforementioned?

Perhaps, but not in the same country. If he meant a revolution every 25 years in the US, why wasn't he for an American revolution in 1801, and 1851?

Americans have had a political overtuning about evey 25 years. In 1801 Mr Jefferson became President after beating John Adams (Federalist). In 1827 Andrew Jackson became President after dispaching the Whigs. In 1860 We elected Abraham Lincoln and this act plunged us into Civil War. In 1877 Rutherford Hayes became President our first President to have a Congressionally decided Presidential race. In 1901 we got Teddy Roosevelt after an assasin ended the Presidency of William McKinley. In 1932 FDR was elected. In 1952 the country voted for Ike and We got Reagan in 1980. Who can forget 2000 and the election of a minorty popular vote President decided by the Supreme Court. So I bet 2020-2032 will be a real doozie of an Election.
