They pretend racism no longer exists while practicing it. They make corporate executives rich by hiring cheap foreign labor, displacing qualified Americans, and putting out inferior products simply to make a buck. They start meaningless, senseless wars to cover up the fact that they don't have a clue on how to solve the domestic problems that plague this nation. Given surpluses, they run up record deficits. They focus on lowering taxes even at the expense of cutting off research for deadly diseases like cancer and alzheimers. They focus on lowering taxes even if it means that schools suffer, day care programs for veterans with alzheimers are eliminated, and the elderly meet a premature demise because of lack of support. They believe in deregulation, so predatory lending practices skyrocket, historically bad oil spills wreck the environment, and food recalls become commonplace. They also have no clue on how to deal with illegal immigration, rising street gang "domestic terrorism", and the cause of racial inequities.

They count among their constituents some of the most racist, vile, and backwards people in this country. Pathetic, undignified people like Palin, Beck, and Limbaugh are their representatives. Even other countries were astounded that an idiotic fluff like Palin could come that close to the presidency. They were in awe of the stupidity of this nation to allow this potential disaster to occur. Republicans are bad for this country. They lie to go to war, then lie about the progress of it. They are pompous and arrogant enough to think that every other country wants to be like us. They engage in selective nation-building, attacking a sovereign nation like Iraq unprovoked to "liberate" their people and build a joke "democracy" while ignoring far worse atrocities happening in Africa.

They oppose illegal immigration while declaring that they stand for the "American Dream." They're even willing to lie to militarily force Iraq to chase that dream while seeking to deny it to our proud neighbors to the south. They are clueless enough to believe that they can "take back America" while shunning blacks, asians, mexicans, gays, indians, non-conservative whites, people of mixed race, and women. Speaking of women, they are backwards enough to believe that a man can tell a woman what to do with her body (abortion). They are clueless on civil rights because they are far too narrow-minded, insecure, and shallow to extend themselves to understand the strength, dignity, versatility, intelligence, and talent that defines other races and cultures. So on and so forth....

Frankly, republicans, tea partiers, neocons, conservatives stink. They represent the inferior side of every political argument and position. They represent the moral low ground. They're obviously not good for this country and this has been proven time and time again.
I find politicians are a joke, on both sides. But Dems are worse.
I am a conservative and I do believe racisim still exists and I certainly do not practice it. You say that we are telling women what they can and can't do with their bodies, yet the left is on board with having the muslims get their way with Sharia law. So I am confused. As far as abortion goes, the real victim is the baby. You know the one who didn't ask to be conceived? If women treated themselves with respect, then they wouldn't be in these situations (for the most part) use birth control, already, don't kill your kid. Take responsibility for yourself and your baby.
You veiw is that everyone should be on equal ground, do you know what kind of world that would be? Great in your mind, not so great in reality. You expect that everyone would be on your level, but in reality, it would be you going down to their level. Meaning America is a young country, compared to the others. Those other countries have had a long, long time to make themselves great. But it is their government that keeps them down in the 3rd world status. The people just keep their heads down and do or say nothing. This is what Obama is trying to do with us. He's ashamed that we are (were) a great country. He talks about everyone being equal and social salvation, well we are all individuals, not the Borg, so his way of thinking is not only wrong, but stupid. We can govern ourselves just fine. We don't need government to tell us how to raise our kids, what to buy, how to live, how to die. Freedom is the most important thing.
Conservatives are not shunning people, but they do not want our country dragged down by those who come here and become a drain on our society. They do not change, they do not work, or contribute to it, so it brings us down with them. Basically, they come here to have a better life, yet since they don't change, they continue to turn our country into ther one they left. They don't learn our language, they don't educate themselves, they don't take responsibility for themselves or their children, and those of us who do work, get taxed more and more to compensate for them. Got it?
And don't tell me how they can't make it here, either. I know a few Mexicans that came here legally and all made it here just fine. My Great Grandparents on both sides came here leagally and made it. My cousin came here legally and made it. In fact, I bet most people who came here the right way, made it. I bet they worked hard, and were rewarded for it. They didn't come here for a handout. We are not against anyone who is willing to come here legally and work hard. So spare me that garbage, about Republicans being against anyone who isn't white. Do you actually KNOW a republican? I mean really know one, that is not a neighbor, or someone with a bumpersticker that you disagree with?
Cause if you did, I think that you would know that we R's are not happy with the leaders of this country that also are R's. We are just as upset as you are. The difference, is that we can admit that, and you can't admit that your boy Obama, is actually worse than anyone one in office. D or R.

We'll make that point again in2012.
Because you stated it as fact instead of as an opinion. Further, if you form an opinion without facts what does that say about your objectivity and how is your further commenting on these topics supposed to be taken if your ranting without any factual basis.

Did you ever ask them? I understand why the people I know who have hard liberal views have them. We disagree on fundamental aspects. I don't think they are stupid, simply that they have a view that is incorrect.

I am in disagreement with them. The only time I think someone "stupid" is when they are enforcing their view on me. Even then, it isn't stupid specifically, just a self centered aspiration of a demand for conformity to their view.

A stupid person is one who clings to a position that can be quantified as wrong. This person is an idiot, a moron, stupid beyond comprehension.

The US has two major parties and millions of points-of-view. Since a all of those opinions can't be represented by a party of their own, there are some inevitable contradictions on the part of both parties.

One is a fat disabled white guy who lives in a trailer on Medicare and Medicaid, always talks about how Democrats are big spending welfare creeps, but look at him!!

Then there is an elderly white woman who has her george w '04 sticker on her car and a bumper sticker that reads that cancer survivors VOTE!! I saw this on her car when the repugs were loudly talking about not using embryos for cancer research and the dems were talking about using those embryos for further cancer research. If cancer was obviously that important to her, why would she vote for a party that had no interest in devoting more funds, technologies into research for a cure?

There are many in these parts who still consider W to be a moral man despite that he started 2 useless wars, supported torture and persecuted gays and lesbians to win re-election and was just plain dumm. that's my opinion anyway.

That used to be so true. Democrats can't ever get anything done because nobody in the party can agree on what to do. Recently though, the republican party has been cleansing their ranks of anybody lacking in lock step thought and doesn't lead with their right foot. Soon it will be a very small party with one thought.

David Vitter - A Republican Conservative United States Senator from Louisiana regularly used prostitutes while in Washington D.C. and yes, he's married.

Bob Allen - Former Florida Chairman of John McCain's 2008 election campaign and one time Florida State Representative. A Conservative Republican Allen was arrested and convicted for offering to perform oral sex for $20 on an undercover police officer.

Mark Sanford - Governor of South Carolina and a Conservative Republican had an extra-marital affair with an Argentinean woman. He claimed he was hiking in Appalachia to cover up the fact he was in South America visiting his mistress.

Roland Corning - Former Assistant Attorney General for the State of South Carolina and Conservative Republican was caught with a stripper, sex toys and Viagra by a policeman in a cemetery in Columbia South Carolina.
If you are honest you will also post about the corruption on the otherside of the fence.
You will find they too have a lot of dirt under their nails.
Or are you just another hardliner blind to the faults of the Democrats?
