The Netherlands may be forced to close prisons because the country is running out of criminals! I think we should offer to send them some of ours. The USA is never short on killers, rapist and cutthroats!
Ironically too this is the country that has the most LIBERAL drug laws in the west. Maybe that ought to teach the USA something... but I doubt it!

The Netherlands is a example of what you can do if you quit prosecuting victimless crimes like personal drug use, suicide, prostitution and petty theft.
The Dutch have the best social safety net in Europe (unemployment is liberal and covers 80% of your working income).cheap mass transit and universal medical care. The Dutch are not up to the kazoo in guns and don't teach their kids to use violence as a way to solve life's everyday problems. The roads in the Netherlands are just as good as those in Germany and I dare you to fine a pothole anywhere in the Netherlands. The only problem, the language is hard to learn and they are hard to get immigration papers from.
The little book I brought with me on the country though did tell me a very funny quote......."Don't be fooled by Holland's low crime rate. The Dutch just have a tendency to legalize activity that is causing crime rates to increase, masking the real safety of the nation". hehe.
I know thats a joke, and the things that have been legalized in Holland are hardly harmful. I think we could learn a thing or two from the Dutch : )
Netherlands Running Short On CRIMINALS! Should We Help?
Looks like crime doesn't pay very well over there.
Their risk/reward ratio must be all outa whack.
