Cops don't enter these areas unless they are in numbers and armored cars. Is this what diversicrats want?
This is very bad, it contributes to, and even promotes, the balkanization of their nation. These stupid PC policies for diversity, and respect for the differences in people, is fine and dandy, as long as you are not encouraging your citizens to split from the rest of society, and turn their neighborhoods and cities into miniature foreign entities.
How far will this go in countries like France? Will the call for diversity be the impetus for Arabs and Muslims in these areas declare separatism and demand sovereignty, or at a minimum, demand self rule? What a win, win, they get a little Islamic state inside France, and France has to fund their schools, and social welfare programs and maintain national security, and the Arabs get to ignore the French government and abide by their own laws.
I made the mistake of renting a place in the city limits here in Des Moines and some "diverse" genius stole my fishing rod and my tackle box out of my pick-up truck last night( everything was worth probably $40 ).
I'm curious. Why did you just watch this person steal your stuff and not do anything about it?
You said that diversity is everywhere in society. Would that not include who is living in my city? Is that not society? Obviously your statement was wrong.
How is my statement wrong? Are you talking about Affirmative Action, or diversity? Your posts about forcing people to live in your city and ousting you makes no sense whatsoever. Please explain what that has to do with the concept of diversity? Diversity is about recognizing difference and focusing on the positive, and not the negative differences, and using education to achieve tolerance and understanding. How on earth could that possibly have a negative impact on you personally?

I didn't make fun of them. I just said that Montana, the Dakotas etc. are boring places in my view. I am sure it is nice to go there on vacation for a week or two, but living there, no thanks.
California is huge, some parts may have problems of the kind you mentioned, but others don't. Is Ohio a big ball of hatred just because there were riots in Cincinnati?
In my view diversity is pretty much the only really interesting thing about the US, diversity as the first step to something new, not as something to be preserved.
Europe is more diverse than the US. Surely Europe is what your ideal is? Or you don't consider it diverse, even though there's 20+ different cultures and languages living in close proximity to one another? That's diverse to me.
To the other liberal posters on here, since you are all for the protection and promotion of minorities, did you people know white people make up the smallest ethnic group in the world? And would you guys consider Japan diverse? Japan, the most highly successful nation right below the US, is 98.5% Japanese and has some of the lowest crime rates in the world and an extremely high quality of life

As opposed to the balkanization by segregation, restrictive covenants, redlining, and general white flight? The stupid PC policies as your referring to them act in just the opposite manner in which its opponents attempt to paint it. The very essence of diversity is INTEGRATION, but on integration on even terms. Which means that I don't have to jettison by cultural history to make white folks, generally speaking, comfortable. I can wear my hijab, Kippah, turban, without you freaking out. It means that I get to celebrate the year of the of the Rabbit, Cinco de Mayo, Ta'anit Esther, or Ramadan, without folks calling the police or organizing community protest.
