Children are shown cartoons on hating Jews. Show me a classroom video where Israelis preach hate to children as part of their educational system.

86, These arent Secular Israeli educated Jews. They moved to Israel form your part of the U.S. They are from an area 45 minutes north of Bergen Co. (across the border in NY) These are American home grown nuts. They throw rocks at other Jews. Read your newspapers these are the same people that put a strain on Monsey while giving nothing back. You cannot condemn a whole population by a small percentage of nuts. So while this group sets up the educational standards for about 200,000 (there are 2.4 million Jewish children in Israel), Hamas sets up the educational standards for an entire region of about 794,000 children.
This being said Settler Israeli children are filled with a different type of hate, the majority preach on the removal of Palestians from the area which is a BIG difference than Hamas children are being preached to kill all the Jews.
Hamas is mainstream evil and sadly widely supported in the Islamic world. The settlers are lunatics and widely disavowed by most Jews. The difference would be obvious were we not so quick to infantilize Muslims and make no demands of them at all.
As much as we want to fantasize that an Israeli--Arab peace accord can be achieved, realism and historical hatred and distrust will prevent this from ever happenning.
The seeds of enmity, hatred, and eternal anger have been planted and it is highly doubtful that there will ever be a peaceful resolution to this nightmare.
I am afraid that I will have to agree with several prior posters that the goal of the Arab extremists states and factions is to annihilate Israel. Those of us who believe the any degree of negotiation can alter this conclusion are mistaken.
Nothing is going to change in this never ending bitter conflict. I agree that most Jews, even in Israel, are for a peaceful resolution----but the political forces seem to be preventing this form happenning. The only goal in the middle east is to maintain stablity-----a peaceful bliss or nirvana is not going to happen in our lifetime.

Yes. This has been the situation ever since Israel's birth and continues today. It is and always has been the brunt of the problem. It's not "settlements". The Arab war of annihilation on Israel started WAY BEFORE there was a single settlement.
Today, the war against Israel's existence is led by Iran and its proxy armies - Hezbollah and Hamas. Syria is also in the middle of that mix. Israel is literally surrounded. Tens of thousands of missles of all types aimed at Israeli cities.
It's very nice that Mr. Abbas says he wants peace. But it can never happen as long as these very powerful anti-peace forces exist. All of them are underpinned by the money and weapons of the Iranian regime. Until that regime is taken down or severely weakened, peace is impossible.
So when is the OP going to start his/her progressive anti-Semitism race baiting, or proclaiming anyone unwilling to forcibly surrender their money to middle east countries an isolationist?
