Exactly. And the mythic Che is very different from the real Che.
Looks do matter. If Che had been ugly there would be few Che T-shirts.
When was the last time you saw someone wearing a Karl Marx t shirt? This is not unique to Che. Do you think Elvis, James Dean, JFK, or Marilyn Monroe would be as popular if they were ugly?
well if rich liberals are cheering the demons that took over cuba and turned it into a hell hole of poverty and even worse corruption than b4, then they yearn for the slitting of their own throats which is what would happen if that stuff ever got a foothold here. btw did you see the dunbar high school" take back our freedom" rally? a whole lota hate and envy.

True. Dean, Presley, and Monroe would not have had careers at all if they'd been ugly. Kennedy probably wouldn't have been president although he would have had a political career. You don't need to be good looking to get to the US Senate.
Most of the time, when a thread starts with "Why do (es)." it is followed by a statement that is 90% false. I do not know of any libs who like Che Guevara. But to even it out let's ask: "Why do conservatives want to put Reagan's face on Mt Rushmore?' or "Why do conservatives find Phyllis Schlaffly more sexually attrractive than Paris Hilton?"

The same with Nelson Mandela. That guy was a killer too. He and his wife would "necklace" their political opponents with a burning tire place around the neck.
Why such mindless (pardon) generalizations? How does such behaviour encourage discussion and/or further mutual solutions to urgent problems?
Do you really think that Liberals don't read? That they get a kick out of associating with mass murderers? That they do such associating because they are inherently evil and morally bankrupt?

So to answer your questions I'd have to say, Yes. Probably not in that context because it would be far too transparant and the last thing most liberals want is to have their true intentions exposed. Absolutely and without a doubt.
Moral bankruptcy seems to be a self serving virtue for many progressives wouldn't you say? Save a tree but kill a baby, copulation in any available orifice=civil right, force the working people to pay for the lazy social programs even if it means bankrupting the US, redistribution of wealth rather than teaching effort and hard work. It's all morally vial and corrupt IMHO
Actually, he was a communist. The two are significantly different.
But each are equally as bad as the other.
