I still say within a few years she would vanish. Even if she didn't and you could be right, does the constant bashing of her personally have much to do with this or does it show any maturity? As I have mentioned, I don't care about what she, Obama, Biden, Bush, etc do in their personal lives, I care about their views and knowledge.

Her overall lack of the world around her does bother me. Quitting her job as governor with no real explanation bothers me. Her tipping habits do not matter and I am amazed anyone would even bring such a stupid thing up or whether her car has tinted windows.

"Oh my God, she's a bad tipper! See how evil!" No one said she's evil because of her lack of tipping. That isn't evil. It's just a lack of grace and class.

"She has a temper! I knew there was something wrong with her" There is a difference between a temper, and an eratic temper. Are you saying you would support someone who flys off at service people, empties her cabinet of canned vegetables by throwing them at her husband (LOL, sort of reminds me of the TV show, Earl) and people who are there to help her as a good candidate to lead a country with nuclear warheads?

'She's an ambitious, ego-driven woman with charisma'. (Replace 'woman' with 'man' and who does that describe?) I left out the 'mediocre IQ' since I've not seen reliable info. I think no one has a problem with that. It's her vengeful attacks on anyone who dares cross her where the problem enters. Oh, and her contant whining and playing the victim. Oh, and her lies. Moose chili, anyone?

She's also the single-most vilified, smeared female politician in history...and she's still standing. With a voice that's stronger than ever. With influence that can't be denied. If nothing else, I give her credit for having the fortitude and backbone to stand up, take it..and come out smiling. [/quote]

I can't argue with your last paragraph. What was once said about Cher? "She's like a roach. The world could be destroyed and she'll still be here." I think it applies to Sarah, too....Like a roach.
No,not tipping isn't a matter of class and grace, it is a matter of customs you have become used to. There are places in the world and some, even in our country where being a big tipper isn't expected.

Have an eractic temper? Is there anything to support this claim? No, I don't mean someone said such and such.

As for an ego-driver woman with charisma, yet, replace that with a man and you get the President of the United States. Most Palin haters here, love Obama and they can't see the connection..

I think all has been said as can be said on this subject. She is a strong and powerful women, maybe not the best educated or maybe she doesn't have an IQ of 170 but Lord knows, she has done the most with what she has.

you are right, but there is also some comparisons that can be addressed. That is why Pres Obama's name is popping up. Didn't you make a referance to someone in your last statement without mentioning a name?

The same could be said about Obama bashing. Has that made HIM go away? Has that made his power diminish and he gets far more petty bashing that Palin does. As for picking on things in Palin's personal life did you miss the topics here on Obama's 'mommy jeans' and his 'riding a girl's bike'? Right wingers complaining about Palin's treatment need to look at their own hands to see if they are clean.

Well, in this case I believe Deep Throat is Levi Johnston.

Considering his potential for porn-dom..well, a bit bizarre.

I think it is the ideas that are being defended. While I no longer like her as a candidate the message she carries in regard to ideology resonates with many people, even if her personality may not.

Quite frankly the left is so fast to attack every right of center conservative female politician while giving the females in their own party a complete pass is it any wonder that she is defended? Misogyny from the party of "tolerance" is very unattractive.

As for the "shared feelings of paranoia and insecurity" again, projections from the left. Y'all really need to stop attributing everything to feelings and take a hard look at at the Constitution and the long history of encroachments and over-reached by the federal government. Even if you are Socialists/Marxists by ideology and agree with the over reaches you cannot, with any intellectual honest, deny that there is a strong foundation of abuses from which your opposition is mounts their objections; facts, not feelings drives us onward.
