It's probably rampant
I tend to stay away from weasel words like probably when discussing issues.

You see the government doesn't have to care about their money because it's NOT their money. If they run short they just tax more.
Then why would the government concern itself with investigating, arresting and trying these 80, who cares?

80 people in one state, these would probably be the ones that were easy to catch. So we have others within that state still under the radar and 49 other states. That would be a significant amount of people.

Nice drama, but not even close.

Per the AJC article (which I am sure you read before commenting), "About 15,000 Georgians get Section 8 housing assistance and thousands more are on waiting lists."

This wasn't even for all of Georgia. It only covered 31 of 149 Georgia counties that work through the state DCA to get the Section 8 funds.

BS I worked for the state of CO doing subcontract work for these leeches and talk about a scam, i got so sick of bass boats in the yard or trailers with snowmobiles or atv's. one leech even had a D4 cat to plow his driveway. the sugardaddy stays in the shadows while his girlfriend collects all the taxpayer funds. all my complaining netted nothing so I quit out of disgust. I cannot work for gov leeches. these people will never get caught as their case workers need them to keep their jobs. That's how we roll in SW CO sure it's the same where your at
