I've watched some of his speeches on-line. Glad he is stepping up and speaking out. I think he shouldn't use name calling, i.e., "retarded", but on the speeches I heard, he never came across that way.
I knew that he had security around him and that he was coming to Ground Zero on 9/11.
Doesn't the Imam from Australia understand his words only give more evidence toward Islam having a dangerous and radical side that needs to be stopped?

Retarded simply means: slow or limited in intellectual or emotional development or academic progress.
He isn't saying something offensive like "mentally retarded", which I think many times we think saying "retarded" always alludes to mental retardation. That is not what he is saying.
Here is Geert's movie, "Fitna" - "In March, Mr. Wilders released a short film called "Fitna," a harsh treatment of Islam that begins by interspersing inflammatory Quran passages with newspaper and TV clips depicting threats and acts of violent jihad."

I have a couple of e-mails waiting to be read from an Aussie friend who keeps up with Wilders and keeps me informed about him. I bet this story is what he was telling me about. I have to get to them so let me say that my man is really worked up about how the liberals who have been in control in Australia have allowed Muslims so much headway. Of course, most of their Muslims are from Indlonesia but they are still Muslims and somebody has to get them under control there.

Even the pro-Islam liberals always try to defend their new favorite religion by pointing out that Islam is simply still in the Dark Ages or Stone Ages and just hasn't had time to "mature" into a tolerant moderate ideology.

About a week before Wilders and Gingrich unload in NYC. I wonder how much of that the MSM will cover. None?
