What's next?

What will Islam bully Americans into next? Enough already!

Islam's reaction is by far, a zillion times more ignorant, dispicable, unacceptable and completely more vicious than anything this idiot wants to do to the Quran.
So if we lose some of our soldiers over this, it will be worth it to you to watch a fanatical, intolerant so-called Christian burn the holy books of others? Unreal. News flash: Terry Jones is the one acting ignorant and unacceptable right now.

How would the soldiers lose their lives?

You mean Muslims would kill people over burning a book???

That is pretty shocking.

I have said many times that they have the right. I understand that, its legal, they can do it.

No one I know is saying that they should be stopped from doing it.

However, you have made your opinion pretty well known about what you think of the actual act. And anyone who thinks that burning books out of hate is a good idea, when the only possible two outcomes are

a. Nothing

or

b. Angering Muslims to the point where they could hurt more American soldiers.

then I have to ask, why?

If burning a Qur'an would end the war tomorrow, I'd burn one today. But thats not going to happen, and as such, its a stupid, futile, ignorant act, and done with little care to those who are actually fighting this war.

No, it would NOT be shocking that is why Jones' action is so irresponsible and the book burning would undermine all that our military and our State department is trying to do to wind down the war.

I certainly wouldn't be surprised if he was. I don't know enough about the bible to have an informed opinion though.

If burning a stupid book is used as an excuse to murder by Muslims, the problem lies TOTALLY with them.

I can't stop others from doing bad things, but I can encourage them to not do them.

I ask you, how is burning a book a good thing? And what is the best possible outcome, and whats the worst?
