I don't know why Obama just can't stand up for what is right and refuse to defend this ruling just as schwarz and jerry brown did so in calif.
I think it's a bit pathetic that it took a gay Republican organization to get this ruling while Democrats and the Obama Administration did little or nothing to repeal the policy. Ironically, it's generally Republicans who will be more upset by this decision than Democrats.
What bothers me about the above article is it's written as if the "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" policy was created by our nation's military. One needs to go back to the early part of President Clinton's first term in office to see who created the policy.
