They are OK so long as you use sense and have them put in places that a long sleeve shirt will cover up when you get a job interview.

This. It seems like they've exploded in popularity the past 10 years and I have no idea why.

Seems less idiotic than beliving an invisible man in the sky is watching over you. But people are free to believe in that too.

What does that have to do with anything? And how do you know one way or the other whether your claim is true? What's idiotic is making the sort of definitive statement about an unknowable thing as you just have.

On the other hand, a tattoo seems a sure sign of low self-esteem.

I'd like to think I have pretty high self esteem. Great job, I live by the beach, I fly airplanes for fun (Reno air show this weekend wooo!!!) great friends, absolutely AMAZING family and I'm one of the cheeriest people you'll ever meet.

I also have a full sleeve.

I hope you are not speaking of the Lord Jesus Christ because he is not an "invisible man" or a man at all. He is a spirit and yes he does watch us. Each and every one of us.

Just pointing out that what one person may think is a wonderful thing, someone else can find to be incredibly stupid.

You mean he sees you when you're sleeping? And knows when you're awake?

Anywho...

Name calling and outbursts are an even bigger sign of low self esteem. As well as being judgmental.

If Jesus is not a man at all, how is it that the word 'he' keeps popping up? My favorite line from the movie "The Big Bounce" came from Morgan Freeman's character. "God is nothing more than an imaginary friend for adults".

Just bustin' your chops. I'm agnostic (spiritual) (whatever you want to call it) so I don't really care.
